How to build document that needs fields for an account and their parent account?

I am trying to create document that needs to have fields on the account layout for the account selected but also for their parent account. Can this be done without having to create formula fields on the layout for the parent account?

Hi @ejohnny,

 

You can pull information for the parent by creating a lookup relationship to the parent account. Also make sure you grab the correct field tags for the lookup relationship, the following link will help(https://help.nintex.com/en-US/docgen/docservices/#docgen-sfdc/Services/templates/LookupRelationship.htm).
