IssueWhen attaching an existing Document to a Process the document may not be found to attach ResolutionCheck the Document 'Type' in the Document Library and ensure that you select this same document type from the paperclip menu in the Process.   Additional InformationThe attach menu will only search for documents of the same type.  Â
IssueWhen using Highlight changes to compare an In Progress Nintex Promapp Process with additional groups, it may show the additional groups as removed (highlighted red and crossed out). ResolutionAlthough the additional groups are shown as removed, on publishing the additional groups remain properly linked.   Additional InformationThis is a known defect.Â
Issue An orange alert may show when entering a name into a Nintex Promapp Process. Resolution This alert means that the user name hasn't been found in the user list. Additional Information Sometimes this will show briefly while the user list loads.
IssueWhen exporting reports to Excel/CSV file, it may appear that the file has actually exported as a txt file ResolutionEnsure your computer settings are set to open csv files using Excel by default.Â
IssueNintex Promapp System or Lean Tags may not show more than 2 of the tags when multiple tags are added to a task or an activity. ResolutionRemove any line breaks from between the tags. Leave the tags on the same line with a space between each tag.  Â
IssueThe follow error may occur when attempting to save a Nintex Promapp Process:Oops. An unspecified error has occurred ResolutionTry the following:Clear Browser cache & History Try another browser Ask another user to try and saveIf these options fail, make a copy of the Process and archive the Process that gives the error.Â
IssueTodos that are included in a Process that is archived may not be removed from the My Todos dashboard. ResolutionRestore the Process from the archives Remove the @todos from the Process Save & Publish the Process Select Archive from the cog wheel menuÂ
IssueNintex Promapp Process tasks by show as overwriting each other in the Procedure view. As pictured below: ResolutionEdit the Process and either remove the empty task or add @todo text or similar to the task. Â
IssueProcess Owner or Expert may not be able to see all the Processes they are the Owner or Expert of. ResolutionPublish the Process for the Owner or Expert to change. Additional InformationProcess Owner or Expert changes will not show in the "Processes I Own" list and the new Owner or Expert will not have rights to edit the Process until the Process has been published. Â
QuestionWhy do some filters on the dashboards show no information? AnswerThe columns remain regardless of the filter selected. For example in the My Risks dashboard: The column 'Treatments' will always display blank when using the filter 'Risks to Assess'.The Risks to Assess filter shows the Risks that require further information such as ratings entered. There is no treatment information required.  My Changes Dashboard:The Columns for Owner or Expert remain even if the filter is changed to Documents where there is no single Owner or ExpertÂ
QuestionIs there a maximum number of roles a single user can have? AnswerAt this time there is no limit but if you run into errors at high level, please let us know.Â
QuestionWhy does my process map have some activity boxes showing in black and white?  AnswerIf the process map activity boxes are colored as black and white, that means the process has been merged on the map. When a Linked Process is shown on a Process Map, you can click the > and this will merge the linked Process into the Map view. the merged process map will be colored in black and white.Â
QuestionWho can create Process Variations on a Process? AnswerAny user that can edit the Process can create Process Variations for the Process. These users include:Owner & Expert of the Process Process Editors Process Group Champions Business Analysts Promasters Additional InformationThe configuration of global variations is limited to Promasters through Admin > VariationsÂ
QuestionCan Nintex Promapp Process Groups that have been deleted be restored, to retrieve the Objective or Background information? AnswerProcess Groups that have been deleted cannot be restored.Â

QuestionCan the name of the Standard Variation be changed for a specific Process? AnswerThe Standard name cannot be changed for just one Process.  You can change the name of the Standard across all Variation Processes by updating the Custom Standard Variation Label in Admin > Configure > Variations.Â
QuestionIs there a limit to the number of Documents that can be uploaded to Nintex Promapp Document library? AnswerThere is no limit to the number of Documents that can be uploaded to the Document library.  Â
QuestionCan the comments made when Saving or Publishing a Process be removed form the change log? AnswerThere is no way to remove these comments from the Change Log through the User Interface. As time moves on and more and ore changes are made, these comments will appear further down the change log.    Additional InformationIf you there is a comment that is offensive or highly inappropriate please contact support@nintex.com.Â
QuestionIs it possible to change the time of day the Nintex Promapp Dashboard emails are sent out?  AnswerThe emails are sent overnight to reduce load on our servers during work hours.  We recommend setting up a mailbox rule to minimise any disturbance due to emails arriving.  Â
TopicWhy doesn't the Process I'm viewing have a Process Map? InstructionsA Process Editor has set the [Display Type] of the Process to Text Mode. This is commonly used when the content is a business policy or informational in nature rather than a Process description.
TopicWhere is the report 'Process hits by user' located? InstructionsThis report is now called 'Process views by user'. It will still be located under Admin > Reports.> Monitor activity and changes.

TopicWhy do Dashboard Notifications for Processes that have been declined stay on the Approvers Dashboards? InstructionsThe notifications remain until the Process is either subsequently Approved and Published or the Approval Process is restarted by saving the Process.  This is so the Approvers can know there is outstanding work to be done on the Process, and the Process can be easily approved if required. Â
QuestionCan Nintex Promapp be used as a Records Management System? AnswerNo Nintex Promapp is not set up to manage Records in that sense.  Â
TopicAre Documents deleted from the server when they are deleted from the Document archived section?  InstructionsYes, when a Document is Archived and then Deleted from the archives the document is removed from our server.
