Hi all,  I am currently creating a workflow that requires the user assigned with the task to upload an attachment.  Then I would like this attachment to be attached to an email that will be sent out to another team. However, this attachment is current residing on the Workflow Task list item rather than the list item.  I have been searching for answers but found that I am required to use Call HTTP Web Service and Web Request to achieve this, however I am not to sure on how to go about using it.  Would like some assistance with this! Thank you!!
I'm getting a lot of requests to build a form and workflow, with the requirement that different users should be able to update the same form at different points in time.I.e. Save and come back later to add additional details. Or to review and amend details in a month’s time.Is there a way to achieve this with Nintex O365 workflow and responive designer forms?
I needed to move document sets in SharePoint Onlinefrom one library to another in the same site where the document sets use a custom content type (not the OOTB document set content type) while maintaining the version history of files contained within (move, not copy)The Nintex Office 365 send document set to repository action only works if your document sets use the OOTB document set content type, so that left me with building a custom solution. Vadim Tabakman’s blog post about moving documents with version history got me rolling. My solution includes moving the document set and uses the modern REST API. In the interest of sharing knowledge, here’s how I did it. The workflow runs on the document set. First, the grouped general process steps. Note: the workflow is nearly 50 actions, so I’ve attached a PDF of all the actions in the workflow, expanded for detail, rather than pasting images into this post. Details of the first action set, Get files in the source doc set:Set Workflow S
We have a requirement to access onprem data from Nintex Workflows. What do we need? Do we need to setup a data gateway?
Hi, I have a requirement to prompt a user on a certain date (triggered by Flow) to nominate a review date.  I have used an Approval Task in Nintex and customised the task form to include a nomination date. However the client does not wish for an approve/reject scenario. All that is required is an update of the review date field to progress the workflow. I cannot find any action that would do that. Would anyone have any ideas? Thank you
Hi!I've seen many posts relating to how Repeating Section data can be displayed in the SharePoint list in the form of a table. Many of the steps assume prior knowledge and/or admin rights to install apps or upload something.I am very new to this and while I understand some of what has been outlined, for the rest of the instructions/images, it would help to know how to configure them. Would it be too much to request for some help in how to do this? I am creating an Overtime Request Form. In the repeating section, I have a calculated field (OTHours) that calculates the time requested based on the start and end date & times. I also have another calculated field that displays the OTHours in days:hrs:mins format. I have a calculated field outside the repeating section (TotalHours) that sums all the OTHours requested. I would be grateful for help in getting this section, including the calculated fields, to display in the list as a table. I have been able to collect this information in th
I am a beginner and created a workflow that sets the title of an item. Â After starting, the workflow gets suspended with message as The specified user {Common:Initiator} could not be found. Can someone help here? Is this a generic message that is related to configurations
I created several list workflows in o365 Nintex all are set to run when a new list item is created. New item is created via an InfoPath form. When I or a SP Admin create a new list item the workflow is initiated. When anyone else on the SP site creates a new list item the workflow does not initiate. Other users have Contribute permissions to the list. I also have a similar workflow that was migrated from on-site Nintex that works correctly (i.e. workflow is triggered when any user creates new list item. Anyone have any ideas how to correct?
I am developing a new form and workflow. The workflow has a state machine that includes one or more task actions in each of its states. The process is fairly long. Today, the life cycle of this process in its legacy solution is at minimum 4 months, but could be up to one year. This has nothing to do with the application, this is just the nature of this particular approval process. Â Can a single workflow instance that is running a state machine stay active for that long? Should I be concerned with the workflow suspending due to it running for so long?
Hi , I need to start a List workflow based the item ID using site workflow .I am using Start workflow action . But I am getting the below .Item does not exist. It may have been deleted by another user Observations : No item level permissions , ItemId is available . Â

I was intend to move attachements that have attached in the SharePoint List, then move to folder inside SharePoint Document Library (the folder is not pre-create)
I have created a Nintex for Office 365 form. I would like to share the link to form but the current link is very long. I'd Like to shorten it as much as possible. For example, in our on-prem environment, the link to a form is rather short:  http://sharepoint.acme.com/projects/_layouts/15/newsbweb.aspx How can I publish the form with a short URL? Â
I have a more general how-to question. I have a SharePoint list that has a generated title of "Site-Year-ID". We need a way to respond to that list item and have the response generated be titled "Site-Year-ID.1". The response to that one would be "Site-Year-ID.2" etc. I'm at a loss as to how to accomplish this.
Hello,I'm automating a process for a customer. He needs to fill in the form's fields with information from a file that will be attached in that same form, so that his clients don't have to duplicate information. Is this possible? if yes, How can I do it?
Hello. I need to send an email with the option for the recipient to Approve or Reject. I created a flow with 1. Start a Task component and 2.Update List Item devided into Approve and Reject. But didn't receive an email.Do I need to add a separate email component? If yes, before or after "Start a Task "or "Update List Item". Thank you!
Hi,I am using DocuSign action in my Nintex workflow, created a new account in DocuSign. My issue is as this is the new account I am not sure how can I authenticate the DocuSign account in SharePoint envirnment. I have added action DocuSign send document action, but this action is not sending email to the receiver, Also I have cheched DocuSign inbox for mails, I didn't receive anything there as well. Workflow status is showing sending status from couple of hours, no changes in the workflow status. Is there anything that I need to do for DocuSign email address authentication before adding the docuSign action in Nintex workflow? Because in DocuSign send document action, it is asking to add only email address of the DocuSign account called Authorizing user.Any help is much appreciated. Thanks, PT
Hi , While creating a calendar entry using Office 365 create list item action into Subsite Calendar list I am getting the following error . The destination site was unable to process request. The provided credentials might not have access to the site." Â
We are planning on utlizing tasks for an approval process. The process already exists in a legacy app, so we are basically recreating the tool with Nintex workflow for O365.There are some cases in the original process where a submission takes a very long time to be fully approved. The approval process could (at abslute most) take up to a year to fully approve. My question is, how long can a task stay active? Would a task be able to stay active that long? I know that SharePoint removes workflow history after 30 days, would that play a part as well? I was planning on using a state machine, then only having the workflow run on submission, and not stop until all approvals are completed. I really don't want to run into a case where the workflow is terminated or anything before the process is completed. Any feedback or guidance would be much appreciated.
Hi,We are having a production environment up and running in SharePoint Online with a nintex form and some workflow templates. Now we are trying to clone a non-prod environment in the same SharePoint Online tenanat. We assume that, in order to do so, we 've to export the forms and workflow templates out of production and import into Non-Prod environment. Now after the Non-Prod environment up and running, If we are making any changes in form/workflow template in Non-Prod environment, can it be possible to export the entire form/ workflow template out of Non-Prod env. and import it to Prod env. Will this create any problem in Prod env. with the running workflows. If this is not the way then how this can be achived to move changes from Non-Prod to Prod.
Hello All, I am trying to set permissions on list items. I first want to remove inheritance and then remove all permissions from the list itemI then want to grant the owners group full accessI then want to grant individual users contribute access I first tried just clearing the permissions and granting the owners group full access. When the workflow runs it never seems to execute totally. The workflow just hangs. I don't get an error just no updates. Is there something incorrect with my O365 permissions update? <below>
