How do I Identify the differences between two similar columns across two lists? Seems simple however having searched long and hard for the answer and having tried several offered solutions I cannot get this to work ! Below is my latest attempt where I have used a collection operation and "Remove by value". I haven't seen this approached in this way however using the more common filtered list approach just wouldn't work for me ( ).Site Workflow:1) Query Employee List and create Collection Variable "Collection List B"2) Pass "Collection List B" to a "For Each" - Variable "Text B"3) Query the competency list and create Collection Variable "Collection List A"4) Remove "Text B" from "Collection List A" in a collection operation ( Remove by Value)5)Pass "Collection List A" to a For Each - Variable "Leavers"6) Update "Business Leaver" field to Yes in List A If employee = Leaver.
I'm looking for a way to trigger one or more Form Variables using JavaScript. I did find an article with a comment by @azetuche (Re: Can i catch the form variables in javascript in Nintex forms ??) using the following code to set the value of a Form Variable:NWF$('[data-controlname*=FormVariableName] input').val();but that's setting the value directly, and not exactly what I need. I have several List Lookups as checkboxes on this form. When the checkboxes are selected, I have Form Variables running calculations. These are working great on their own. I also have one unbound checkbox called Select All. When this checkbox is selected, I have JavaScript checking all of the checkboxes. Unfortunately, this action is not triggering the Form Variables to run their calculations. I've also unsuccessfully tried using the JavaScript from above, but using .trigger() instead of .val(). Additionally, I found Populate dynamically a calculated value by using a JavaScript function call which usesNWF
Hi allFrom version 11.0 Nintex form came with Hijri date. For Arabs it's great feature but for other languages that uses language packs it doesn't good!! I used Persian language pack. After upgrading to latest version of nintex form all of my date picker changed to Hijri date picker! and when I select Persian date from Site settings>Regional setting the issue is still exist! Do you know any solutions for disabling Hijri date?! RegardsAmir
To start with, here is what I am trying to do: On a form, I want to lookup (from another list) and based on the currentuser, return another column, from that list.Based on the currentuser, go out to an Approver list, and find that person's approver. The Approver list has Employee (People), TravelApprover (People).I'm trying to use a calculated Value with the following formula:lookup('Approver','Employee','Employee', 'TravelApprover')The second Employee in the function is a Named Control.Nothing is being returned. I must be missing something, I would think this would be pretty easy.
Good day,I have a workflow that has a flex task in it. Once the user completes the task they will get a notification and the workflow should complete. For some reason, that I cannot figure out, the workflow will start over again and prompt the user a second time to complete the task. Once the task is completed a second time, the workflow completes. I'm not sure what is causing this or how to fix it. Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks!
Hi All,Above is the snapshot of a Nintex Form, In my present nintex form whenever i Tab out from a field its going in a zigzag order, i don't know why (which is depicted in the Present scenario), but I want to set the TAB out field order myself, and to control the field where the Cursor goes in my next tab. How to achieve this (the required scenario is given in the second pic).I have tried to correct this using the "Column Ordering" in List settings, but doesn't work. Please suggest a solution in detail (probably if any one can in a step by step manner to set the TAB order). It would be of great help. Thanks to all the wonderful people out there who are making this community a great place to seek help.Regards,Satya Sri RamNote : 1. Field Names have been blocked out because of business sensitivity, sorry for that.2. The TAB flow is shown in Orange Arrows.

I have a Loop with Conditions that I can't seem to get to wait until each condition is true. Is my nexting of actions wrong? Each condition should wait until 3 SharePoint fields are not empty, but it just continues with the action and completes the whole workflow each time. Any ideas why it's not waiting for each condition to become True before continuing? Thanks
When a form is in edit mode, I would like to set the value of one of my fields (a text box). This does not error out, but it doesn't update the field either. What would be a better way of accomplishing this?
I have an expense reimbursement form that uses and SQL request to pull in department numbers in a drop down as one column in the repeating section. Each repeating section is an expense line item. When the user is completing the form, they need to select which department the expense on each line goes to. The SQL request pulls the department numbers from a SQL database so that we only have to manage that list in one place. When the user saves their form and later goes back to edit it, the department is automatically switched back to the first department in the drop down list. rather than the department that they had initially picked. Is there a way to make the users selection stick?Changing execute in edit mode to no is not an option because the user will then not be able to add any additional lines if they edit. New Form: View Form: Edit form:
Hi, is it possible to 1) create a contact list on SharePoint, with various metadata columns2) have a buttonfunction which uses Nintex to read the list, and 2.1) Launch a new email in Outlook 2.2) Pre-populate the recipients from the Outlook list 2.3) the user can then create their email as required. We have various groups and committees which have a large contact list in SharePoint. This list is managed outside of I.T. We are hoping to mail-enable this, rather than go through an exhaustive process of creating Distribution Lists in exchange. By adopting the SharePoint approach, we can ensure the management and ownership is kept within the correct department. Thanks
HelloHow do I show the mobile number from user's AD?I am using the calculation field on a form with folloing syntax: userProfileLookup(Current User,"telephoneNumber") but it remains blank .... in the AD my mobile number is stored under telephoneNumber.I also tried the "CellPhone" instead but nothing is displayed. Any suggestions?
Hello...I have read a few articles on this but looking for a easier way. I also have not seen to where you can export directly to a drive location. I am trying to create a workflow that will run on the first of the month and archive the prior months data to a computer drive. This is not for me so I am trying to set this up for another line of business. Thanks in advance!Cassy Freeman
In a Nintex Form, how can I allow a user to clear out or reset a repeating section?I have a form with four repeating sections. As we all know, users can delete all but the last row of a repeating section by clicking the large X on the right-hand side of the repeating section. But the last element needs to be deleted from the control(s). I know my users well enough to know that they will complain about having to delete data two different ways. I was looking at an article (Update fields before Submitting ) that seemed promising, but it will only clear out the first control. I know I can accomplish this via a workflow (in fact, I have a workflow to remove any blank rows, just in case a user decides to add a bunch of blanks), but I need to be able to accomplish this on the form itself so the users have the immediate feedback and/or can clear all the choices and enter new ones right away.I'm pretty good with Forms and Workflows, but not so much with JavaScript.Any ideas? Thanks in advance!
Hello, I have a list with multiple fields. I would like to create two forms for a SharePoint list. For example, form A will be assigned to person C. After being approved, some of the information in form A will be linked to form B. Form B will be assigned to person D. The information which is inputted by person D will be connected to the same SharePoint list but it will not updated the information which is inputted in form A.Is it possible to accomplish this?Thank you.
I am trying to hide a panel if a string control's value starts with zero or if null or empty. Basically, the string value is last four social security number that may have one zero two zero or three zeros. I have about 10 other panels that hide if the string control's value starts with 1 through 9, but this specific panel does not seem to hide.Below is the rule that i am using for zero:(isNullOrEmpty(Last4SSN) || not(startsWith(Last4SSN, "0")))I have also tried single quotes instead of double quotes but it does not seem to work.Below is the rule that i am using for 1 through 9:Nintex Forms Designer - New Hazard Card - Item(isNullOrEmpty(Last4SSN) || not(startsWith(Last4SSN, "1")))It seems like this is a bug since startsWith() cannot recognize string with zeros??
I need help figuring out how to stamp a date, once another field has been updated. In the screenshot, once a User enters a value in the "ServiceNow ID" field, I would like the "ServiceNow EntryDate" to be stamped. Any way to accomplish this as a calculated field? Or do I need to use JS (gulp)?
I have currency fields in my form. I have defaulted them all to be blank, but I'm guessing because they are currency fields, they still populate with 0 on the forms?? I have a workflow that will update another field if there is a value entered into the currency field. My Run-If action does not have Is Empty or Is Not Empty, therefore when I set my Run-If to be greater than or equal to 0, it passes through and updates the other field every time. Additionally, 0 is a valid entry a user can put into the field. How do I setup my workflow to properly check if the end user entered a value?Thank you,
Hello. I have built a site workflow that is tied to a library. Essentially its an annual review workflow. It took me a couple of weeks to get it to work at all. Now that it is working, I have now spent about 8 hours trying to get the notification email to link to the library item. I have read hundreds of posts and not a single person seems to have an answer.
On a couple of forms I have a calculated value control that references a date column, which is formatted by a formatDate function:This used to work fine, but now suddenly returns the following:When I just reference the date column "Datum ingevuld" (no formatting), this is what I get:When I use the item reference Current date I still get "16-04-2018" and "maandag 16 april 2018 00:00:00" respectively. Can anybody explain this to me?We recently updated to Forms 2013 version 2.11.2.2.
update item not working
How do I reference a Field from the SharePoint 2013 List that I created for a new Nintex Form/Workflow, that is not already predefined in the "Common," "Item Properties," or "Inline Functions?"
Is there a way to get a specific checkbox value to open a text box that can be used to enter an "other" value. Choice as check boxes:Option1Option 2Option 3Other If user checks Option 1, Option 3, Other I want the text box to open so they can enter the other value. If I have my logic correct I when creating my list item I would map the CheckBox field and then ";" and then my TexBox field and that should give me the contolled input Option 1; Option 3;Other;[user inputed value] The problem I am running into is that unless the only box checked is other I cant get the "Other" text box to show hide as needed.
