Hi all, first time poster!I have run into a few issues using Nintex but I am having a specific issue I am curious if anyone can help me with.I have a form and I am using the Responsive Sharepoint version of Nintex.For the sake of confidentiality I won't go into business details but lets play a hypothetical. Lets say I work for a car rental place.I have a form that I want this information filled in:Full Name:Phone:Rental Date:Return Date:Number of passengers:Type of Car:Now, if I want to have a button that submits that information to the list but then returns the user to the form with all the information filled in, with the exception of the Number of passengers and Type of car, is that possible?So, example.Full Name: John SmithPhone: 555-555-5555Rental Date: 1/1/1999Return Date: 1/5/1999Number of passengers: 3Type of Car: Little Red CorvetteSUBMIT AND CONTINUE /  SUBMIT(Click Submit and Continue) (Information is saved to the list)(Page Refreshes and user see's this)Full Name: John Smith

Is it possible to refresh the redirect page after saving a form?  I have a form that redirects to a page that has web part view of a document library where, through the Create Item action, data is placed.  I need to be able to not just redirect from the form to this page but also refresh the page.  The workflow is very simple and takes about a second to run.

Hi, today I had to realize, that our workflows, which are running for years, are not starting anymore when creating a new list item. Our system administrator told us, that wether patches were installed nor changes were applied to our systems.Can you give me some advices where to look at?I have tried to increase the log level to verbose, but I couldn't find any hints regarding the problem.I don't get any error messages, it just won't start. Best,Silvano 

When editing a Nintex workflow I'll double-click on an action (or select "Configure" from the menu...it doesn't seem to matter). The dialog will pop up, and then I'll have to wait for the dialog to populate 10-20 seconds. Sometimes the dialog doesn't populate at all and I have to close and re-open, sometimes two or three times. There's always a noticeable delay, but it's not always this long or problematic, but when it is, it makes for a very long and frustrating day. I'm guessing this is mostly due to our wickedly slow SharePoint server getting busy and taking a long time to respond to queries from the dialog, and that there's nothing to be done about it, but I thought I'd check anyway.Is this an indication of problems? Is there something that can be done about it?Thanks

Hi,I have a workflow that has been doing its job perfectly for a few months now and i have come to run it today and have been greeted with this message:The workflow is immediately cancelled by the system account. So far based on what i've researched ive checked and the item URL in the email resolves, im using a domain account that is site collection administrator and ive tried to open the workflow history list and it is currently just hanging.We havent had any scheduled maintenance or upgrades to our sharepoint environment, does anyone have any idea why this would just randomly start happening?ThanksAnthony

Hello,I have a (Nintex 2013)form with the status field. When the users fill out the form, the status field should be disabled initially. If they try to review the submitted form, then again they should not have the ability to edit the status field inside the Form. Only admins should have the ability to change the status field. Please guide me to achieve this.

When I try to print certain Nintex forms in Internet Explorer 11, multi line text fields overlap with one another causing some areas of the page to be blank and other pages to have lines of text overlapped. This happens if I try to print to PDF or to a printer.The same forms print with minor issues in Firefox. The text doesn't overlap, but shrinks in one section. Safari is a bigger mess than IE. Chrome prints perfectly.Since Nintex doesn't allow me to edit forms in anything other than IE, I would have expected IE to be the one browser that prints the forms without a problem, not Google Chrome.Has anyone else had this problem and found a fix for it? Can anyone confirm that if I upgrade to Nintex Forms Enterprise this won't be an issue with the Print to PDF function?Thanks!

I am having a problem with the Print as PDF function.This is basically what the output of clicking it is.My settings are:I am using the responsive forms on Nintex with Sharepoint.Anyone else having this problem?As a work-around I've coded a RTF widget with a "Print Page" feature that I added a bunch of style tags to so that I can modify what gets sent out, but the issue is with IE/FF that those browsers are not accepting the code and the end user has to modify the browser settings to print them correctly or save them as a .PDF file.

My one minute pauses are sometimes taking up to 5 minutes. Just curious how this works and why it would pause so long?

Hi, I have a SharePoint document library with a field named "Owner" (single line of text). I want to query the value from that field into a Nintex worfkflow, convert it (somehow) to a Person type value and return it to SharePoint as a valid person name into a new person type column named "newOwner". I tried calling a web service control but it's not being able to make the conversion, or at least I can't find the option there. Does anyone have an idea of how this could be done?If I do a simple update item using the value from the Owner field, I get an error saying the input type is incorrect (text value to person type column). I thought SharePoint would simply read the text value and make the conversion like when using the people picker, but that was not the case.Any advice you can provide will be greatly appreciated.

I need to upgrade Nintex forms to the latest version to resolve an issue with repeating controls.  How do I find all the Nintex forms I need to test in the new version before I deploy this version on a production server?  I have multiple users developing/using Nintex forms and there is no central repository/report that I can find that will tell me all the forms in use on a SharePoint server. 

Hi all,I'm having issues with creating a form for a document set content type.  I create a new library, add a document set content type (a simple content type that inherits from the document set content type).  In the library, I go into content type settings for the document set and click the Edit Form with Nintex forms link.   I select create classic form.It comes back with "Error:  Cannot use Nintex forms for content type:  ...."Using Version 4.3.0.0.Thanks in advance for any help...Cheers,Troy

Basically my requirement is: There are 5 people that work a specific process. Can I set up a list of these 5 people and have the first task go to person1, the second go to person2, and so on looping through the list of 5 people over and over?I tried to query the list and get the first person, then perform a math operation on an "number assigned" column to +1 so that it would get the highest person with a low number, but I can't quite get it to work.Any input is appreciated.

I would like to retrieve the username from the SharePoint User Profile (or) Active Directory based on the provided Employee ID. Is it possible to show it on the Form (or) Is it only possible to get when the workflow is run.

Hi all,I have a list with attachment control and I have tried to add a rule to disable the attaching attachment feature, which allow the user to view/open the attachments.But it seems that the component will hide. All the attached attachments will disappear too.I would like to know how can I implement the behavior I needed?

Hi all,I want to create a *.csv file with NINTEX (build string). The creation of the file is no problem (I am using the send mail action for that, sending the content to a sharepoint folder). Also "a one line" input is no problem,BUT I need several lines to be created AND THAT IS THE PROBLEM. I am able to use any kind of separator in order to fill-out different columns, but how do I separate different LINES? I found " " but that is not working.My string is looking something like this currently:YES;YES;NO;1;2;  YES;NO;NO;3;4;   YES;YES;NO;5;6; At the end of the day my csv should look like this:YESYESNO12YESNONO34YESYESNO56Cheersmai-kel

I need to hide the edit column in a list view control, I have using a view in the list to display the column in a listView contorl. The idea is to to hide the column based on condition on form load.I have tried this NWF$("div[name='Edit']").hide();but it only erase that text not the column.thanks

Hi,Does anyone know how to rounddown a value in a calculated field?'round' works however this will only round to the nearest decimal point.For example; i have the value '4.85' and i would like this to be rounded down to '4'.If i use 'round' then this will equal 5.If i try to use rounddown([value]) i get the error: 'rounddown' is undefinedIf this is not possible another option would be to remove or trim the decimal and value after decimal point. I am struggling with this method also. Any ideas?I need this calculated live on the form (a workflow is not suitable).ThanksStuart
