ISSUE
When opening the Document Generation workflow action the following error occurs after multiple tries:Failed to retrieve Document Generation consumption. Try closing and reopening the action to refresh the connection.

RESOLUTION
Option 1
- Navigate to SharePoint Central Administration
- Navigate to Nintex Administration > External Settings for Workflow
- Verify that prerequisite services are enabled
- Verify that Document Generation has been activated
- Navigate to Nintex Administration > Health checks
- Verify that all health indicators are green
Option 2
These additional steps might be required:- Verify the App Pool account has permissions on the Nintex Configuration Database
- Navigate to Central Administration > Nintex Workflow Management > Nintex Live and External Settings
- Disable the Prerequisite Service
- Enable the Prerequisite Service
- Enable Document Generation Capability
