Process Discovery - v21.4

New and Enhanced Discovery Algorithm

The ground-breaking new Process Discovery algorithm is here to push the limit of data processing. The new algorithm:

  • Runs through thousands of user actions in an unmatched performance
  • Reduces the time it takes to find a process from days to minutes, providing continuous real-time analysis of recorded user activity

New Way to Discover Processes

A new and simplified Discovery page to make process discovery quick and easy. The new Discovery page lets you:

  • Explore all the candidate processes suggested by the system
  • Save and categorize candidate-for-automation processes to your Process Library for further analysis

Real-Life User Process in Video Preview

Watch and easily skip through a video simulation of how the process was done in real-life by the user. The new video viewer:

  • Presents a step-by-step simulation of the process
  • Highlights where the user clicked on an application
  • Shows typing and keyboard shortcuts annotations
  • Has a full-screen view for a better watching experience

Tag Processes by Business Use Case

Just to make it easier for you to categorize and to scan through processes, we've added a new Business Use Case field to the Process Library. Now you can tag related processes under the same business use case.

Export Processes to BPMN Diagram

BPMN is a markup language XML based that describes business processes. Now you can export a process as an easy-to-read business process model flowchart, which can be shared across the organization.

Snipping a Process out of the Original User Recording

Now you can review the original recording of users and simply manually snip a process that you like:

  • Snip processes out of Discovered Process and out of an entire User Recording
  • Fill-in informative details for the snipped process
  • Save your snipped processes directly to you Process Library

Team Management

A new scalable and flexible way to manage robots, data, and recorded users.Create teams and assign robots remotely without applying any configuration changes on the client/server side.

Licensing: Support for Non-Persistent Environments

Introducing a new identification method for robots to support non-persistent environments. Meaning, a robot is now identified by username only (e.g. user@domain.com or localuser@machinename) and not by the combination of username & machine. The new licensing support allows you to license robots for specific users even if the machine name is unknown or alters (in case of desktop virtualization solution).

Process Discovery Dashboard: A Fresh Batch of Insights

We’ve added a new home page for the business analysts, containing valuable information and insights, alongside quick access to the recent discoveries and to processes in the library.

Robots over HTTP

The default client-server communication is now HTTP.
