In this video we will look at how to use the SharePoint Online – Update Item Permissions action, in Nintex Workflow Cloud®, to set individual permissions on a SharePoint list item for users and groups. As an example, this action can help in a scenario where you have a SharePoint list designed to store electronic asset information and ownership for your organization. Then from within that list you have a requirement to limit individual item access only to asset owners, their managers, and perhaps the IT Department when the list item is created or ownership changes.
