Issue Description

When you have installed the K2 Five (5.5) March 2022 Cumulative Update, and you attempt to rerun the K2 Five (5.5) (5.0006.1000.0) setup manager, you will receive a “Version Conflict” warning message which is expected behavior. But you are unable to select the Launch option as it just reloads the “Version Conflict” warning message each time.

Error Message:

The following Warning occurs: “K2 Five (5.5) (5.0006.1000.0) does not support updating the installed version of 5.0006.2100.0. A fix pack or cumulative update has been applied, launch the installer from the installed location instead”

Resolution

The fix is available in:

  • K2 Five (5.5) March 2022 Cumulative Update Fix Pack 01.

  1. Ensure you have the correct K2 version and/or Cumulative update installed. See KB001893 to see what Fix Pack level you have installed.
  2. Download the latest Fix Pack using the links in the table above for the version you require.
  3. Install the Fix Pack to apply the fix.
