Code Fix: Adding the same view twice to a form causes inherited rule errors

Issue Description

When you add a view to a form twice, it causes inherited rule dependency errors on the form which results in you not being able to check in the form.

Error Message:

The following error occurs: “The items below have dependency errors. For more information edit the relevant items”

Resolution

The fix is available in:

• K2 Five (5.3) November 2020 Cumulative Update Fix Pack 30.
• K2 Five (5.4) November 2021 Cumulative Update Fix Pack 03.
• K2 Five (5.5) November 2021 Cumulative Update Fix Pack 03.

1. Ensure you have the correct K2 version and/or Cumulative update installed. See KB001893 to see what Fix Pack level you have installed.
2. Download the latest Fix Pack using the links in the table above for the version you require.
3. Install the Fix Pack to apply the fix.
4. It is recommended to clear browser cache and refresh the page.
