I’m hoping I just missed this somehow, but I’m not finding an option for updating a Design System once it has been deployed. Running through the Import again doesn’t pick up the changes made in an updated export from a Dev org, but I’m not seeing an update method. I’m on 13.0.5

Your process should work. Make change in dev org - export - then import to target org. It should update the target org.
This may be insulting (and so I apologize in advance). I know that my file system does not update a previously exported file (but creates a “copy 1” file in addition). If you imported the original file - you would not be getting your changed file.
