When I first try searching a field each day the response time is over 55 seconds. After the first query in the morning the response is 2 second.

What version of Skuid are you using? (Generally, we encourage users to upgrade if possible as newer versions of Skuid are faster.) It looks from your video clips that you are using API version 2 (v2) pages. Is that correct?
Please see documentation on the “Search” component for this operation and also information about Improving Query Performance in the Page Performance Guide. The important takeaway is that indexed fields are faster to search. If you can ensure in your Salesforce or data source setup that the fields you wish to search are indexed, this should improve the initial load time of search results.
