Has anyone come up with a way to show recent items in the search in a similar approach to the standard SFDC search?
When I’ve added it to the Search component as a return object, I just get a spinning circle…

Unfortunately, the RecentlyViewed object does not appear to support SOSL FIND queries. See the following:
It’d be nice if the search component reported something back for these sorts of errors, though, even if only to the console log.
