We have a large amount of data, so page loads can take a while. Since the page in question is a default landing page, people sometimes want to skip it and go to another page/tab.
Is there a way, perhaps though a snippet, that can detect when a user clicks outside of the popup that will close the popup and allow them to click on another tab?

Can you provide more detail about the popup you are wanting to close? Is it a Skuid popup you created that has components in it or is it a popup that appears from the action framework when you select “show message and block UI”?
