The ability to conditionally rendering a component or component element would be so much cooler if there effects available when rendering such components. As an example you could use jquery slideToggle() to have a large wrapper with multiple components slide/push elements down the page from within a tab.

We regret to inform you that our beloved colleague and friend @Rob_Hatch passed away on April 3, 2024 in the company of his wife, Marialice Hatch. Rob was a pillar of Skuid; an integral part of the company from the beginning. He held numerous key positions across the company and made immeasurable contributions over the past ten years. Rob was a champion of both doing the right thing and doing things right and his unwavering commitment to not cutting corners is a big reason why Skuid is where it is today. Overview In the Salesforce Spring '24 release a security update around Visualforce JavaScript remoting will be enforced that may affect some Skuid customers deploying Skuid pages within Visualforce pages. What is changing? Salesforce will force enablement of JsonAccess annotation validation within Visualforce JavaScript remoting. This update was made available in Winter '23 and will be enforced in Spring '24. The Visualforce Remoting API uses JavaScript to call methods in Apex controllers from Visualforce pages and this update is increasing security across packaging namespaces. Skuid pages are in the Skuid namespace and Visualforce pages are in the org namespace, resulting in an error that might trigger a message similar to the following: Cannot create property 'totalsuccess' on string 'The concrete implementation 'skuid.Utils.SkuidResult' in namespace 'skuid' has a JsonAccess annotation serializable attribute defined that prevents serialization. The Apex object cannot be serialized.
