Image component does not preview in Chrome

I am using image component to display a preview of .pdf attachments.
The preview displays in Safari but not in Chrome .
Is this an issue with security settings? Any thoughts on a work around would be appreciated

    When you “inspect element” in chrome (Right click when hovering over the image)  what image url do you get?  Does it look like a malformed URL?
