Highlight table row on hover or mouseover

Would be a cool standard feature if the row in a table highlights when the mouse pointer is over that row.

    You can do this today.  Edit your theme, go to the Tables section, then to Table body.
    If you modify the Background (Hovered Rows) property, you can achieve just what you detailed.
