Seems like a no brainer in having this as a component. Surprised I couldn’t find anyone mention it.

Did you ever find an email composer and/or email composer built into force.com?
+9This would be fantastic for single page apps. I will say that as Skuid’s lightning compatibility improves, we’ve been using more standard lightning components with our pages instead of overriding the entire page. This allows us to use more of the native non-replaceable items like the email action, activity feed, and duplicate rules component.
