No conditions process merge syntax. Rendering, Model, Context, etc…

When you have a rendering condition where you’d love to have the “field from another model” option, and you think “no problem, I’ll just use merge syntax” and then you realize that conditions don’t process merge syntax…
Don’t fear!
At some point, Pat alerted me to the very simple option of creating a model just for the purpose of evaluating your desired “field from another model” condition. Then, set you render condition to check if that model has rows.
A little hacky, but it works!
