Our users want to be able to upload a template file in csv format that we want to use to generate a large number of records. The only information regarding file uploads has to do with File Attachments. I was curious if someone has had a similar problem, and what the solution to that problem was.

+3The template file will be used to create a hierarchy of records. One of my coworkers came up with a solution. I’m using a template component, and placing some HTML in that component with a file upload button. Then in JavaScript I attach an event listener to that file upload button and when a user uploads a file I do the required magic. Thanks for the tip though. 🙂
