It would be nice if an event could cover multiples of the “group by” field (or at least transcend the grouping entirely).
For instance, this event could cover both columns:
I think you could accomplish this by letting any event that doesn’t have a value in the grouping field cover all groups?

That is interesting… We want to allow events to cover multiple days, but hadn’t thought about allowing events to cover multiple items in the group by. Currently if your event is not associated with the field you are grouping by - it simply is not shown.
Calendar needs some love…
+6I have a use case for this also. Can the grouping filed be a multi-select picklist to get around the limitation or is there another workaround now?
