Topic
An Apps client was having issues with table drawers not opening when expected. We found that they had duplicated their table by copying and pasting the component's XML. This can cause unexpected behavior because the table and all of its nested components no longer have unique id's - they're duplicated. How do we fix this without losing all the work that was done on the duplicate table?

Instructions
We recommend using the clone feature when copying anything that has unique IDs, rather than copying and pasting the raw XML.

If you have just one ID to contend with, you can manually update it in the page composer. In the page composer, a component's ID can be found here:

However, if you already have a component whose IDs are duplicated, you can resolve the duplicate ID issue with the Clone feature. Simply clone the duplicate.

This assigns unique ids to the table and its nested components. Then you can replace the duplicate with the properly cloned version.
