Topic
Is Nintex Apps for Salesforce (formerly Skuid) compatible with the International Components for Unicode (ICU) locale formats (see Salesforce's Release Update Documentation)?

Instructions
We recommend deferring the ICU Locale rollout before the Summer '25 release if able.

This can be completed via this Salesforce article.

  1. From Setup in the Quick Find box, enter User Interface.
  2. Scroll down the list of User Interface options.
  3. Then select the User Interface option located at the bottom of the menu.
  4. Deselect the checkbox next to Enable ICU locale formats as part of the scheduled rollout.

Additional Information

  • If an org has Nintex Apps installed, the Enable ICU Locale Formats release update cannot automatically be enabled. It can be enabled manually. Salesforce will inform clients that the release update couldn't be automatically enabled due to Apex classes using deprecated Salesforce API (older than 45). Salesforce documentation
  • Nintex Apps handles formatting separately, and will continue using JDK. If ICU Locales release update is enabled in an org, locale-related data will display in a different format between Salesforce and Nintex Apps. Review Salesforce's documentation about differences between the formats
