Our Nintex scripts are failing to interact with Chrome today. The thing I noticed is that it works fine on bot machines where the Chrome version hasn’t been updated. I tested and watched one bot successfully interact with Chrome on version 138.0.7204.184, but then immediately fail to locate any Chrome elements once updated to 139.0.7258.67.

Is anyone else noticing this issue?

Hello,

Google released a new Chrome Browser on July 31 and it was incompatible with the Chrome Extension that they approved for public use. We have a new Chrome Extension that we are going to release next week but there is an unpacked version and I am attaching it here.

If you have any issues after following the above steps, please open a case with Nintex Support by emailing support@nintex.com.

I can confirm that this works if anyone else has ran into the same problem.

Thank you,

Do we know when the new extension will be published?  We do not have it on our end and the Chrome Store still shows 36.0.0.  We are applying the manual fix but didn’t know how long before the published fix.  Thx.  DMcD

We plan to release the extension Wednesday or Thursday of this week. We are putting it through some strong QA testing to make sure it doesn’t break anything in older versions before we publish it because when we publish it, it will auto update for most users. The ones that do not have the auto updates paused.
