Hi @CPBALVIN ,

Version 12 is  8-9 years old at this point - Windows 11 is not officially supported. That being said, you can decide to assume the risk of the OS upgrade, and you may not run into any issues.

I would suggest talking to your Nintex Account Manager about modernized licensing and getting your version updated alongside that.

Hi @john_armstrong

Your comment on modernizing is noted but we are on a tight timeline to migrate to W11.

While opening Foxtrot Legacy on W11, we encountered “Licensing Error - 15” with additional messages “Please check the license Path in the Paths view of the Foxtrot Administrator” and “License Path: \\FOXTSRV\Foxtrot Suite”.

We use concurrent license and use a server to provide licensing for our users to use Foxtrot Legacy.

Our server is running Server 2012 R2 and we hope upgrading to Windows Server 2025 should resolve this Foxtrot licensing issue.

Do you know whether moving to W11 requires an update to Foxtrot license?

The error message you’re receiving could be for a couple different reasons. I would suggest opening a case with Support either through Customer Central or by email.

Your license type will not affect which OS are supported on which version. No licensing updates would be needed if you’re planning to move to W11 without updating your version of Foxtrot.
