There are 3 ways to avoid target mismatch.
- Do not have a session of 'Microsoft Teams' running.
- Adjust target rules to include Right, Left, Best or Exact match to "Google Chrome" or "New Tab Google Chrome," try not to use Ignore as the more information RPA has to work with, the better the targeting.
- Open the Chrome application with a 'Open App' action with the Options parameter set to open to a specific page then target a specific element on the page and create the Target exist action to that target.
Additional Information
Always remember that when a Chrome browser is opened to the startup window the Chrome targeting system is NOT engaged until the browser is navigated to a URL. The 'Target Exists' action is using 'Windows' technology because the initial Chrome window does not launch the Nintex RPA Chrome Channel.exe thus we do not detect the Document or browser.
If the Open App action is used, which comes up in the menu when you target Chrome, type the website you want to go to in the Options field and it will kickstart the Chrome Extension.
