Hi,

I’m looking for some advice on whether the number of days for marking a process as reviewed (currently 60 days) is configurable.

For example, could it be extended to 90 days to better align with the “due in 3 months” dashboard notification?

We’ve had some queries from users who begin their review when the process first appears in the 3‑month window, but are then unable to complete it. They receive a message stating that the process cannot be marked as reviewed until it is within 60 days of the review date.

It would be helpful to understand whether this setting can be adjusted, or if there is a recommended way to manage this more effectively from a user perspective.

Many Thanks

@ClaireT Thanks for raising this, completely understand why this would be confusing for users!

Unfortunately the 60 day window for marking a process as reviewed is not configurable. It's a fixed system setting and can't be extended to 90 days or any other timeframe.

The best workaround for users in this situation is to go directly into the process via the Reviews tab, click View, and publish it with a note such as "Process reviewed, no changes required." This bypasses the 60 day restriction and formally marks the review as complete.

It's worth flagging to users that the 3 month dashboard notification is simply an early heads up that a review is coming, the actual review can only be marked off within the 60 day window before the due date.

If having a configurable review window is something that would really help, it's worth raising on the Nintex Ideas portal as a feature request!
