I have changed the Process Owner on one of my processes, but it will not route for approval to that new person. It is still routing to the originally assigned person. Can someone let me know if I need to do something different to get this Process Owner changed?
It’s because it routes to the Process Owner assigned at the point changes were made to the process . You will need to contact your Promaster (via Help “Contact Promaster” ) and they should be able to override via the Publish Now option .

I find the best way to change process owner and expert is to Transfer the processes from within the User Admin area. This means you can transfer without any approvals or republishing. Particularly useful if you have bulk to do. You’ll need someone with Promaster or BI privilege to do this for you if you are not already that person :)
