How to apply viewing permissions to a Nintex Promapp Process Group

 

Instructions

Promasters can add viewing permissions to a group:
  1. Navigate to the Group you wish to apply permissions to
  2. Select "Administer Group" from the Cogwheel menu
  3. Select the Roles/Users you wish to give permission to 
  4. Select Save

Note: Users must have permission to the Parent group in order to have permission to a child group.

So what's the best way to limit users from viewing all the processes in a Multi-national? Let's say you have 5 countries - and want to limit your users to seeing only your countries processes. Would the best way be as follows:

1. Create a role for all your country staff e.g "All Staff - Kenya"

2. Assign all your staff to this role

3. Assign this role to your countries proces group

4. Remove the ALL STAFF role for the rest of the Process groups you don't want them to see
