Onchange event for dropdown

Hello everyone , i have one requirement where in i have a dropdown with 4 values and each value will define a rule to show particluar field and hide based on drop down value selected , so the requirement is when the user changes the dropdown value all other fields data show be empty and we should get an alert to get confirmation that do you still want to change the value.

 

kindly do help in providing the solution .

Currently, it seems that this solution is not feasible due to several reasons.
This solution would need to be achieved using rules.

The rule would need to say: “If control is visible NO” and “If control is filled” Then “clear text” and give warning.

The problem is that you cannot configure a rule that says: “If control is visible NO”
There is no “Clear control” functionality,” and there is no popup warning functionality.
