NWC Tracking Number

I would like to create a tracking number for each workflow submitted (Form Summitted) that is logged into multiple SharePoint lists with different field information. Any ideas on how to accomplish this.

@Andrew87  The method I most often see is trim the workflow instance ID and combine that with something as a tracking ID.
