Hi,
You can use the “Execute a smartobject method” with the list method and filter on 1 or more unique properties of your item to retrieve the item (that's one way of checking if your item saved), dont think there is a rule specifically for checking though. Usually, if an item fails to save, you would get an error of some sort.
