Unreadable Text When Opening License File

Issue

When opening a Nintex License file (.nlf), the file contains unreadable text instead of a valid license.

Resolution

This is by design. The Nintex License files are encrypted and cannot be read by end users. License files should be imported into the Licensing pages in the Nintex administration section of the SharePoint Central Administration site.
