Unable to Interact with CRM Dynamics 2016 Using Workflow

Issue

When connecting to Dynamics CRM 2016 using the Nintex Workflow CRM actions in Nintex Workflow for SharePoint 2010, one of the following errors might occur:


Cannot connect to server


or


The Server URL cannot be found

 

Error Code

"Cannot connect to server" or "The Server URL cannot be found"

 

Resolution

Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2016 is not supported in Nintex Workflow for SharePoint 2010.

 

Additional Information

Nintex Workflow 2010 supported versions for Microsoft Dynamics CRM (other than 4.0) include: 2011 and 2013.

Nintex Workflow 2013 supported versions for Microsoft Dynamics CRM (other than 4.0) include: 2011, 2013, 2015, 2016 (up to version 8.2).

Nintex Live Actions supports Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online and Microsoft Dynamics CRM for on-premises under the following versions: 2011, 2013, 2015, and 2016 (up to version 8.2).  In order to use Live CRM actions for CRM OnPrem server, ensure the CRM OnPrem is publicly accessible.
