Unable to Import Nintex Forms License: Failed to activate web application feature.

Issue

Unable to import Nintex Forms license within Central Administration Nintex Forms Management.
 

Error Code

Error:Failed to activate web application feature. Error: Error in the application.. Stack trace:    at Nintex.Forms.SharePoint.Licensing.LicenseHelper.ReadandCheckIfLicenseValidForFeatureActivation()     at Nintex.Forms.SharePoint.EventReceivers.WebApplicationFeatureEventReceiver.FeatureActivated(SPFeatureReceiverProperties properties)

Resolution

1. Run the following command in Sharepoint 2013 Management Shell:
   • INSTALL-NFService
2. Re-import the license  in Central Administration Nintex Forms Management
