Task List Only Displays Task History of the Last 60 Days

ISSUE

When viewing the task list history, only tasks from the last 60 days are available.

ERROR CODE

RESOLUTION

This is by design within SharePoint, and results from the Workflow Auto Cleanup Job. Task history can be restored from a database backup.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

By default SharePoint only holds the task list info for 60 days, setting up a retention policy can limit the amount of time the information can be held.
