Nintex Workflows For SharePoint / For Office 365 Do Not Send Emails To Distribution Lists

ISSUE
When trying to send email to a distribution list the action fails and only sends to one user. 
ERROR CODE
RESOLUTION
Update the workflow to use a Mail Enabled Security Group, SharePoint does not support sending to Distribution Lists via workflow.
