ISSUE
Workflows designed with Nintex Workflow for SharePoint do not send out emails even though SharePoint Designer workflows can send email successfully.
ERROR CODE
RESOLUTION
- Navigate to Central Administration.
- Open System Settings > Configure outgoing e-mail settings.
- Note the name of the outbound SMTP server.
- Navigate to Nintex Workflow Management > Global Settings.
- Update the outbound SMTP server configuration here to match the name of the outbound SMTP server under outgoing e-mail settings.
