Error "The type or namespace name 'Nintex' could not be found" publishing workflow

ISSUE
When publishing a workflow, the following error might occur:

The type or namespace name 'Nintex' could not be found
ERROR CODE
RESOLUTION
Complete the web activation step (as described in the install guide)
  1. Go to: Central Administration > Nintex Workflow Management > Web application activation
  2. Select "All content web applications".
  3. Click activate.
If the above does not resolve the issue the web.config entries will need be entered manually.

 

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
This occurs when the Nintex Workflow assemblies are not registered in the web.config for one or more WFE servers in the Farm. These are added on feature activation.
