Why is the Stored Procedure “_PrepareForNewEnvironment” missing when upgrading Nintex Workflow 2010 to Nintex Workflow 2013?

The upgrade guide has the following preface:
"This guide assumes the Nintex Workflow 2010 is version 2.3.5 or greater"
The Nintex database version 2.0.1.5 is for Nintex Workflow version build 2.3.5.0 and therefore if you are on an older Nintex database version e.g. 2.0.1.2, then this may introduce issues during the upgrade process.
The resolution is to upgrade Nintex Workflow 2010 product to version 2.3.5.0 or higher in order to continue with the upgrade process as documented here: https://community.nintex.com/docs/DOC-1205
