Question
It is possible for the Nintex Attachment control to allow files to be open for preview before saving.
Answer
When adding an attachment to a Nintex Form the file name is not a link and therefore cannot be clicked on.
The reason for this is that the file is not attached at the time of browsing and selecting the file, it is just a place holder.
The file is only attached at the time the Submit button is pressed.
When the form is then opened in View mode the file name will be a link and the file can be viewed.

Additional Information
This is the same behavior for Nintex Forms On-premise Installations and Nintex Forms for O365.
Native SharePoint forms also behave in this manner.
