Can one form submission create new items on two lists?

Out of the box it is not possible to create two list items when submitting one form.
Additional Information
If this scenario is required we recommend that you create one item with one form submission and then use a Nintex Workflow that runs on item creation to create the second item on another list based on metadata submitted in the first form.
