when you have a need to disable a field in a form so the user can't edit it but need the value of the field to save to the list.
Instructions
In order to have the single line show, but not be editable, but still populate the list column, you need to leave the Control Mode at Auto and create a Form Rule and apply it to the Textbox control like below:
