There is a current attachment issue that I am trying to resolve. A workflow task form has an attachment that is no longer accessible when the task is completed. I need to make this accessible even after task is marked completed. Trying to find bug or remediation documentation but have been unsuccessful. Also, be advised this is implemented for SharePoint on prem.

Hi @Sc12

By inaccessible, is that on a task form level or workflow?

The Task list is just another form of a SharePoint list, so long as there isn't any kind of retention policy enabled that is causing an issue attachments should work after completion.

Could you please share some screenshots of the steps you are taking and where the attachments are no longer accessable?

Thanks

Jake

It's not accessible on the task form field. This is true even when it's opened at the form level for edit. This occurs only when the task is marked as cancelled or completed. You can see the attachment link but It's greyed out and cannot be open/launched. FYI the screenshot is redacted due to it being proprietary.

Jake, in what ways would an SP policy to be set up to make an attachment inaccessible after the associated task is marked complete?
