I am trying to copy items form one list to another in a site workflow..
I am not able to keep the Rich text formatting from the source field in the item.
I am using the multi line text variable to retrieve the value.
Can you tell me how to achieve this please?

What version of SharePoint are you working with? This is something that does work when using a "Create Item" action in the workflow and selecting the Rich Text (under Item Properties) field you want to copy. I was able to do this with two different lists and it works using just that one action.
