How to disable edit after selection the value in SQL Request dropdown list using JQuery.

Hi,

After selecting the value in the Role Type field, I am trying to disable the edit from the dropdown list. The user can't reselect the value from the dropdown list.

Please suggest to me any jQuery related to this.
