I have a project request workflow that I am currently building. As the project requests leave the initiator, the forms in the flexitasks are altered and attachments are added and then handed off to the next person. My problem is, when the form moves from one workflow to the other, it is not writing the attachments to the attachment column. If I choose the list item directly from the list the workflows are running on, I can upload attachments without a problem. It is only in the flexitask that the attachments control in the Nintex builder does not save the documents or attachments to the attachments column.

Is there an easy fix for this? Each step along the way, the user needs to be able to upload attachments and they need to be able to write to the attachments column and be saved.

Has anyone else encountered this issue? Know a fix

Thank you,

If I understand correctly, you are trying to save an attachment to the original SharePoint list item from a workflow task?

If this is the case, then it's important to remember that your SharePoint list item and the workflow task are two different items on two different lists.

Can you confirm this is the case?

Yes, that is correct.

I have the same question. Were you able to find a fix?

I'm trying to pass to the Task form the attachments from the original list. Surprisingly I'm able to see the attachments on the task form on mobile and tablet, but I cannot see it on the task desktop version. I'm making the task form to look exactly like the original form with just additional fields for approvals and comments.

I know i can try to workaround it to have a hyperlink to the original list item and and have the user click the link and view the attachments from there, but since we are already showing the task form to be exactly like the original list item, then there is no point for having multiple clicks to just view the attachments to the original list item.

Please let me know if you got/found an answer.

Thanks!

, here is step by step example how to do that

, the procedure is valid as well for copying attachment opposite way from task list item to original list, you just need to swap source and target lists.

Hello, did Marian's answer solve your issue?

I haven't tried yet to be honest. Things got super busy here, but it is on my list to fix. I'll let you know for sure.

I am trying to get my list's attachments to show in the FlexiTask with Nintex form that is just like the list item, along with the FlexiTask approval items.  In reading this post, I do not actually see the solution.  Can you provide assistance?
