Nintex for Office 365

I found the Three-Tier Cascading Drop Downs: Do Go Chasing Waterfalls! blog post online and it works great.  However, applying the same principle, I wanted to go for fourth and fifth layer cascading drop downs but it was not working.  Is it possible to do this?  If so how?  Thank you.

I have a Nintex Form, one of the field is a lookup which is connected to a SharePoint custom list. When submitting the form I can see the choices that I need to choose but after submission I get "#Value!"

Hi Friends,We have a bunch of workflow actions including assigning permissions which requires List name configuration. We have used workflow context > List name. However If some one changes list name for whatever reason the workflows get suspended. Does any one know how to hard code the list name in workflow action?List Guid or name?Please advise.Thanks for any pointers to resolve this.With Best regards,Nehal

In Nintex forms for SharePoint 2013 you can add images into your forms. We are using this to show examples of posters that need to be confirmed that they exist. On the mobile and tablet version of the form the images are "clickable" and open up a larger view of the thumbnail. Is there a way to do this to the images on the desktop? I've looked into making them buttons and using JavaScript to open the image URL (this does work on desktop), however doing this would mean extra work since the buttons wouldn't show up on Mobile and Tablet ( I would have to duplicate all the buttons with images for mobile and tablet). 

On premises Nintex 2013 has All Approver Comments and All Approver Comments (HTML) functions. These are missing in my Office 365 version of Nintex. Does the cloud version lack this functionality?Is there a simpler way of consolidating all approval comments in Office 365 workflows (other than querying task list and consolidating comments) Thanks

Hi all, I have recently had to change a workflow to the newer version of DocGen but I am struggling to work out why my collection data is not being listed properly in the Excel file.I have followed a blog posted by Patrick Hosch‌ (https://community.nintex.com/community/tech-blog/blog/2017/04/19/document-generation-just-got-a-major-upgrade-in-office-365) but I don't see any data when the file is built.I have tried multiple ways of doing this; selecting a range of cells for the data (which shows nothing), and selecting the top row of the table (which shows a single row of data), but I am lost in this at the moment.What I have is 5 columns of data which can be variable in the number of rows (but up to a max of 5) and each row has different data; Date, Reference, and other data.There are other non-collection variables that do show on the Excel file but my main concern is why the collection data doesn't show.Edit: I have placed the Row Start variable from the Table fields in the first row (

Hi all,Not sure if this is something that is possible, but thought I would ask anywayI'm currently working on something for quality assurance, which allows users to log complaints that they receive. I have it set up with one SharePoint list that contains all entries (for QA to use to track all complaints) and then a separate list for each department which contains just their own complaints. I had to set these up as different lists as QA does not want each department to see anyone else's complaints, and as far as I can find there's no way to limit access to views. I'm now trying to get it so that when one of the departments updates the status of their complaint, that change is then reflected in the main QA database. I found one solution that works, but it requires a new workflow for each department (currently 11, however could grow)I was just wondering if there was any way for this to be contained in 1 workflow in the main QA list, that then pulls the data from the department lists. Hi All,  Customer is asking to maximize Workflow history limit from 60 days to 1 year.I have checked through Nintex forums and I got the following Task List Only Displays Task History of the Last 60 Days - Nintex Knowledge Base   But above link is okay with SharePoint On-prem environment.  I also searched this blog post  Recovering Workflow History after 60 days   Q: Which Settings should I change for SharePoint Online for Workflows? Thanks in advance. 

I have a workflow (currently using the trial verison of Nintex Workflow) on SharePoint Online which sends an email to the email address property of a user in a person or group field. I have this field set to myself and strangely I seem to actually receive the email in Outlook intermittently (about 25% of the time). I have a log to workflow history action after the send email action which includes the email address used at the send email stage and it is correct. Any ideas why this could be happening? Thanks

Hello Tomasz, In relation to the "add date to Time" I'm trying to do a workflow where based on a column in the library for exampleExpiry Date, I want to assign a task 3 months before the Expiry Date is due, would I add a variable plus_90_days and use this as the Date (5th down on he action)?What would you use for Output as date? Kind regards Claire

I want to be able to select a list of approvers and assign that collection or variable as participants in a "Start Task Process" action. Imagine that you have a list that contains two columns: a location and an approver.  For example: Location:      Approver:Job Site A   John DoeJob Site A   Jane DoeJob Site B   Fred SmithJob Site B   Alex Rogers My workflow will select all the approvers for a given location, say "Job Site A" and attempt to make them participants in the task process. I can get the list of approvers just fine.  I just can't seem to get them into a format or variable that works as a participant in the "Start a Task Process" action.  One approver works just fine, but not multiples. I appreciate any advice you guys can give. Chris

Hi, In on-prem Nintex gives you the ability to see the currently running workflow in diagram form, showing each of the actions as it is in the designer, their status and details, you can then click through for more details and errors. Anybody know why this is not replicated in O365. Only way of coming close to replicating it that I can see, is to write to the history list after each action to mark it complete. If you're not creating tasks, there's no obvious way of understanding where the workflow is up to without this. I did have a look on Uservoice for this but found nothing. Thoughts.

Hello all, I asked this question about a month ago: How can I change the Appearance of the checkboxes in Nintex forms I thought I had the answer but it looks like the solution I arrived on, hides the check boxed when they are printed, and the solution others suggested works well, but only in internet explorer and to a degree chrome.  I tried adding in a line of-moz-appearance: none; but it had no affect.  Help me nmarples you're my only hope.

When I use the update document control the alignment of my text gets messed up. In my template it is supposed to be right aligned but when I run update document in the workflow it all is added and it is left aligned. Anyone else notice this or know how to fix it. 

How to calendar my WF to start each day.

Using Nintex Workflow for Office 365, I can't see FormData in the Item Properties from the query XML. 

They dont show up on the form and I dont see any options to add them.  Am I missing something or is this a feature we dont have yet?

I'm using panels and javascript to hide/show certain panels to create the "page effect" as described in articles here. But when using the Print to PDF or browser Print options I only get the current visible panel? Can I add a button and some javascript to reference the entire form or use some other technique?

Hi all, I was wondering if there was a report showing me what applications, workflows, etc. are consuming the document quota in the Document Generation action. We are using the Document Generation as part of a Production site but another process seems to be consuming these documents and I wanted to find out what it was. Any advice would be very welcome.  Regards,Paul

While exporting the Nintex Workflow, we are receiving the error message as "Error exporting a workflow. An error occurred that could be due to the size of the workflow. Try reducing the size of your workflow and any task forms or split the workflow". I assure that the workflow is large. Can someone let us know how to check the limitation on exporting a workflow in Nintex and where to modify it.  ‌ ‌
