Repeating Section's column name issue

I have an issue of Column Name in Repeating Section.In Form, I create "Departure Country" in Repeating Section.But after submitting it, it is recorded as "_bd44be4485249ec3c523b56708061cfa". What is the solution for this issue?

Auto populate user name and associated company field

Hello Nintex Community!  I am looking for some help to pull and auto-populate a field. In the form we are building there is a field for user name (text field) and company (drop down). In the default value for user name we are using the Context function to get "Current display name". In the company field I want it to auto-populate the company based on the user's name. Both these fields are read-only fields as we don't want users to adjust the company name field.  The requirement is to have a user login and every time they fill out a new form they can see their name and company but not be able to change those fields.  I am using the new responsive designer to build the form.  Thank you for your help!

Syntax for No Operation in Calculated Value Formula

I need to write a formula which updates a calculated value if there is a value in a form field, but doesn't update the calculated value if the form field is empty.I've been trying to use the “If” Runtime Function, and in the formula builder the syntax is reported as:If(logical_test, value_if_true, value_if false) How do I say, for value_if_false, do nothing? If I use quotes for value_if_false, this overwrites the value in the calculated value with a null value.Or is there another way to say, for a calculated value formula, if there's a value in the form field, write that value to the calculated value, else do nothing?

How to change Yes/No control color when it is clicked

Hi,I'm using O365 classic forms. I have five Yes/No controls in the form. I want to change background color of the check boxes to orange when they are  clicked. At the moment the background color changes to blue(default color) as below when it is clicked.Can this be done using CSS, if so could someone guide me on how to do this as I'm not much familiar with CSS.  Regards,Kavirana

Hide a checkbox in Choice column in Nintex Office 365 Forms

Hi all,   I am trying to hide a choice value of a multi select choice column. Eg: I have a choice column(Test) which has 3 values as Option1; Option2; Option3. It has multi select option.  My requirement: The choice column should only show Option1 and Option3. Whenever the Option1 is checked, it should display Option2   Please guide me. Appreciate your response! Thanks!

ifElse Statements in Variables, Between two decimals - New Responsive Form designer

I am trying to find a way to create ifElse statements in the New Responsive Designer under variable, for numbers in between two decimals. I loved the video tutorial for ifElse statements in the Risk Matrix, but unfortunately, with decimals, I have too many possible numbers to add them all as == . Is there a way to create a statement that allows for ifElse to search between two numbers (in my case, decimals), to evaluate to true/false? My Example:  I would like to get the number of possible points, based on if they fall between the lower and upper numbers.

Systemupdate to not trigger workflow

We are using a custom C# solution to update the Items using SystemUpdate() for a Nintex associated list in SharePoint Online. But, we see that the Nintex workflow is getting triggered whenever solution runs. As we are running the solution almost for all the Nintex associated sites, updating the workflow and running the solution every time is not a feasible. Is there any way to update the item without triggering the Nintex workflow.   Any help on this would be appreciated!!!

working with signatures using responsive forms and workflows

Hi Everyone, I am trying to work with signatures with no luck so far. Below is the scenario.   The user submit the Nintex form for approval along with signing in the signature field. The workflow then send the form for approval to the manager including all the initial details filled in by the applicant. The manager then approves the application along with his/her signature in the signature field and forward to processing team who then checks signature of both individuals(applicant & manager) with the signatures saved in a file.    I am able to get the flow running except manager and applicant signature not visible to the processing team.   Any help will be much appreciated

Nintex forms licensing

Hello Community, Can somone please explain the Nintex forms licensing for office 365? I once worked on a project where for 1 Nintex workflow, 5 Nintex forms were free. Can someone please suggest if its only possible to buy Nintex forms licenses alone and what would be the cost?   Regards, Vaibhav

How to use fn-IsMemberOfGroup

Hello, I want to show / hide some controls based on the membership of the current user. the group i need to check is different per item, i need to check it based on a property (CountryName). When i put the fn-ismemberOfGroup function in the expression as fn-IsMemberOfGroup("Norway"), it works fine. when i use the following expression the item property is never used, fn-IsMemberOfGroup("CountryName") however when i user a Common property it works fine. Further i tried to use the fn-IsMemberOfGroup("CountryName") using a rule but that didn't work out either. Is it possible to use this function with a rule or expression at run time and put in a dynamic group name?

Repeating section data into SharePoint List column

Hi all,  I am currently working on a Sharepoint list where i am using nintex forms to help with the functionality.In this list the user needs to be able to add as many machines that they are using for a job with all the needed info required by the company. For this i decided to use the repeating section within nintex.In the repeating section i have columns such as Description, Weight, Dimensions, How is the machine powered, etc.But nintex doesnt have an out of the box solution how this data can be easily stored in the columns of my Sharepoint List.I have tried looking for a solution on this forum but the answers i got were either out of date or were too complex for me too understand (Total noob to nintex).Repeating section data gets saved as XML and i want to extract this data and put it into the relevant columns of the Sharepoint List.Can anyone help me walk through this problem and how i can solve it? Images and Hyperlinks not coming from SharePoint

Good morning, I'm trying to create a New Responsive designer form and I noticed that it won't grab the Image field or the Hyperlink field from SharePoint.  I'm assuming these aren't implemented yet?  Is there any plan to implement them in the future? Thanks,Michael

WCAG Accessibility Standard

Good morning, I'm trying to determine what accessibility standard that the Nintex Forms for Office 365 meet.  I see there is no validation summary option (none I can figure out anyway) in the New Responsive Design, but my understanding is that that is a requirement for WCAG 2.1 AA.   I'm not accessibility pro by any means, just trying to match old forms to new forms and noticed I couldn't do this. Thanks,Michael

Rules not working anymore after connecting to SharePoint Columns

Hi all, After i finished creating my form in nintex, i went back to SharePoint to create the necessary columns in my list. When i tried to connect these newly created columns to my fields in the nintex form, none of them work anymore (even the ones that have no relation to the new columns). I even tried to create some simple new rules to test if they will work and none of them do.Is this a possible bug in Nintex or does anyone have a solution for this problem? Many thanks in advance,Jared

How to allow SP 0365 Repeating section to accept double /single quote and new line?

Hi All, Need your help please, using SharePoint 0365 my form has repeating section with multiple line of text. I have a workflow that has Query XML to get my multiple line text data, then inside my for each loop, I also have Regular expression action with my collection variable and I replace with this pattern [^a-zA-Z0-9-_ _;_._%_(_)_/_-_=_#_$_:_?_ ]But when the user enter " or ' it will convert to html hashtags like &quot.How to allow SP 0365 Repeating section to accept double /single quote and new line?

How do create a help ticket for nintex

I've customized our SharePoint online list using Nintex form. It used to be working in our production list. However, the following message came when we click our SharePoint list. How do I create a ticket for helpdesk?"Sorry, it looks like you don’t have access to this customized form. Please check with your administrator whether your organization is licensed for Nintex Forms."

Open Nintex Form in Edit Mode directly from a List

Hello, I am wondering if anyone knows the JSON to apply to the Title column to change the open behaviour of a Nintex form to open in edit mode.  The client does not want to click the Ellipse > Edit etc.  They want to click the link in the library to present the form in edit mode directly.  I tried the following, but unfortunately, the code is invalid for some reason. Wait for Item update SharePoint Onprem vs Online

With SharePoint 2016 On Prem There is a workflow object "Wait for item update"I can select a field Set a parameter (equals, to not equal,  to be empty etc...) then I can set the value of the field S With SharePoint Online Nintex says that "Wait for Field Change in Current Item"Field: Select the field Value: I can enter a value.   My problem is that I need to set a parameter of "to not equal" Can someone assist me on how to configure this.

Forms 365: Can I save a calculated value to a list?

I have a SP list from which I want to dispense calculated lot numbers, that is, the user clicks New, and a form opens with the new, calculated lot number. When saved, the lot number is committed to the list, along with some details the user has filled out. An example of the lot number format is D11005-01, D standing for the decade of the '20s, D1 meaning 2021, 1005 meaning October 5, and the 01 is a sequential suffix...but the format isn't particularly important; I can build that out.My problem is that if it's calculated in a Nintex form (I'm using New Responsive), it can be viewed immediately, but apparently can't be saved back as a SP column.  If it's a calculated SP column, it can't be viewed in the New form because it only gets calculated when the item is saved. Am I stating this correctly? Do you have any ideas for getting around this problem?

Workflow - O365 - Query List using Current Date problem?

Hi Folks, I have a list in an O365 site which contains task dates (task start and task end). These dates are in short form and site regional is set to English United Kingdom (i.e. date format is dd/MMM/yyyy e.g. 30/03/2020). Am trying to build a site workflow which will be scheduled to query that list for items whose tasks begin on that date (i.e. Task Start Date is equal to Current Date). I have set a date variable to be todays (datToday) as per below screenshot:That returns a date variable in the format: 30/03/2020 12:51:36 When then using a Query List to pull back only items whose Task Start Date is equal to datToday (see below screenshot)  I get this error: String was not recognized as a valid DateTime. Can anyone please advise me how to build a O365 workflow which queries using a date variable? I've seen plenty of topics concerning use of Build String etc but that does not get around the above error. Thanks  G So using a Query List have constructed this:

Validation rules on text fields that include spaces

Hello,I am creating a form that has several fields for our existing customers. I have one field that I need to add a validation rule to; it is for the customer's first name. I am looking for a way to invalidate the first name if it includes spaces as the employees who are filling these out keep putting two first names (spouses) rather than one. They know they are not supposed to do this, but they keep doing it. I would like a validation error to come up that tells them they must only enter one first name. Right now I have it set to where it gives this error if the field contains " and " or " & " but I cannot find a way to do this if it contains a space. I am using SharePoint Online and Nintex Forms for Office 365. Any help would be much appreciated.

Automatically fill in a new unique ID

Hi all, Currently working on a management of change tool where each request for change needs to have a unique id assigned to it. I am using the new responsive designer to design this tool. How do i get nintex to automatically assign a unique ID to each new request? (E.G. when i click on "Request change" it automatically gives that request the number 00001)The column is now a "Number" type in Sharepoint and already checks if that number is unique or not, but i want it to automatically fill in a unique ID instead of manually typing one in. Any help is appreciated.Thanks in advance,Jared
