Code Fix: Worklist error when applying date filters using relative date or specific date

Issue Description

When you use the standard Worklist Control and add a filter for any Date Type (e.g. Task Start Date, Activity Start Date, or Workflow Start Date) using either the "Relative Date" or "Specific Date" option, the Worklist encounters an error.

Error Message:

“The following error occurs:

Unable to connect to server View Details.

Clicking on View Details:

Type: System.DateTime is not allowed for deserialization. trying to filter on any date”

Resolution

The fix is available in:

  1. Ensure you have the correct K2 version and/or Cumulative update installed. See KB001893 to see what Fix Pack level you have installed.
  2. Download the latest Fix Pack using the links in the table above for the version you require.
  3. Install the Fix Pack to apply the fix.
